Black Clover Season 2: When and Where to Watch

Black Clover season 2 is finally here, more than five years after the first run wrapped, and new episodes are dropping weekly. Studio Pierrot is producing, the season premiered on October 3, 2026, and Crunchyroll has it in its Fall 2026 line-up for the Indian subcontinent. Crunchyroll is also producing an English dub, and the first dubbed episode is already streaming.

Where to watch Black Clover season 2 in India

The Black Clover season 2 Crunchyroll streaming is the main route for Indian fans: the platform lists the series for the Indian subcontinent with new subtitled episodes on Saturdays, and it carries the show across most of its international territories. Episode 4, "174. Day of Atonement", is live on Crunchyroll India at 23 minutes with Japanese audio and English subtitles only. In Japan, domestic streaming runs through U-NEXT, Lemino, Anime Times and Anime Hodai, with more services following later.

Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs have been announced but are not streaming yet. Crunchyroll's Fall schedule lists all three, and Anime Mirchi gives October 24, 2026 with the time to be announced. As of October 25, the app shows no Hindi, Tamil or Telugu audio. The English dub is available in India through Episode 172 (season 2, episode 2), two episodes behind the subtitled release; globally it started on October 17.

The story so far

Created by Yūki Tabata, Black Clover follows Asta, an orphan born without magic in a world where magical ability decides much of your standing, and his childhood friend and rival Yuno, who has exceptional magical talent. Asta gets a rare five-leaf clover grimoire holding anti-magic, which lets him counter other magic users' spells, and joins the Black Bulls, one of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knight squads, with his sights set on becoming the Wizard King.

Studio Pierrot's original TV anime ran for 170 episodes from 2017 to 2021, ending with "Harukamirai" / "The Faraway Future" in March 2021. By then the story had moved towards a confrontation with the Dark Triad, the rulers of the Spade Kingdom; Asta was training to master his devil powers while Yuno, Noelle and the other Magic Knights prepared to hit back after key squad captains were captured.

What season 2 covers

Season 2 picks up directly with the Spade Kingdom Raid arc. Asta and the Magic Knights storm the Spade Kingdom to rescue their captured captains and stop the Dark Triad's plans, testing their abilities and loyalties, with Asta's anti-magic central to the fight. Whether the season adapts the full arc has not been officially stated, and there is no official arc subtitle; the title is just "Black Clover Season 2".

What happened in Episode 3

Episode 3, "Black Guardian", opened the first gate of the underworld early, and that one development reshaped every battle at once.

• Lower-ranking devils poured into the human world, forcing the resistance army and the Magic Knights outside the castle to defend civilians rather than focus on the Dark Triad.
• High-ranking devils Lilith and Nahamah arrived, and Nacht found even his different Devil Union forms could do little more than help him dodge their attacks.
• The weakened barrier let Zenon, Vanica and Dante access 100 percent of their respective devils' power.
• With many captains away in Spade, an ancient demon threatened the largely undefended Clover Kingdom.
• Asta, back from his training with Liebe, used Devil Union in a real fight for the first time and finished the ancient demon with anti-magic.

Why Episode 4 leans on Nacht

The early gate wrecked Nacht's carefully built plan. He spent years studying and controlling devils, and he is now up against enemies above the ones he prepared for, while Yuno, Charlotte and Jack face opponents they came to Spade ready to confront. The title "Day of Atonement" points toward the reasons he pushes himself this far. Asta's Devil Union is still new and its limits are already known, so the question is where that power matters most.

Black Clover season 2 English dub cast

Dallas Reid is back as Asta, with Micah Solusod as his rival Yuno. Bryce Papenbrook voices Liebe, the devil tied to Asta's anti-magic, and Max Mittelman plays Nacht. The villains and veterans are covered too: Patrick Seitz as Dante, Zeno Robinson as Zenon and Monica Rial as Mereoleona.
